There are exercises that can help you think better, faster, more clearly and then there are insights that can change your life. Autoletic thinking turns problems into challenges to be met and learned from. It is an approach that will change your life if you practice it.

Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi is the author of Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience, a remarkable book in which he discusses how our thinking can enhance our quality of life. He explains how a rich, strong, powerful person is no more in control of his consciousness than someone who is sickly, poor, weak, or oppressed.  The difference is in whether he sees challenges as threats or as opportunities for action.

What he calls the autotelic self refers to someone who has the ability to translate potential threats into enjoyable challenges, and thus has an internal balance. The term autotelic self means a person who has self- contained goals. For most people, goals are shaped by biological needs and social conventions – things which are outside the self. The difference is that the autotelic self, or the person who is capable of defining things for himself, is also capable of transforming threats into non-threatening challenges. This can be done with a simple change of perspective, a shift in consciousness: that is, seeing a threat as a challenge that you can overcome. Once you can do that, the steps are simple:

  1.  Be crystal clear about the goal - Once you know exactly what the goal is, you'll know what you need to meet it. Then you can decide on a series of actions necessary to accomplish the goal. You can modify these actions as needed  to meet the goal.
  2.  Become involved in the activity - This means commitment. This means action. Whether things are going your way or not, you consistently take action with the next best steps. This demands concentration, commitment, and follow through.
  3.  Pay attention to what is happening – This really means that the project becomes more important than your own feelings about what is happening. Your concentration is on the results of the project. You invest your energy in the project. You are committed, you are involved – it’s about the project, not about you.
  4.  Enjoy the experience – the autotelic self can set goals, develop skills, be sensitive to feedback, get involved, and look past obstacles. The benefit of learning to be an autotelic personality is that anything that happens can be a source of joy because it is a source of learning and step to the next goal. In other words, there are no failures, only learning experiences.

This approach to thinking can mean the difference between living life in fear or living life in joy. Developing autotelic thinking will give you the ability to transform random events into learning experiences that eventually result in success. Life is change - by definition and for everyone. Seeing that as a challenge to be accepted, enjoyed, and built on is the “secret” to successful living.

Can you change your life for the better? Absolutely. There are many things you can do but the biggest one is to take action.

How Can Getting in the Flow Change Your Life?

Can you change your life for the better? Absolutely. There are many things you can do but the biggest one is to take action. Action changes things and without it nothing happens and everything stays the same. If you want to change your life, then you need to do something. Decide what you want to change and how you can make it happen. Set a goal and make a plan. The steps you take towards reaching your goal should include some challenge to motivate and inspire you.

Getting in the flow happens when you are undertaking a task that fully immerses you. Within it you are working without thinking of anything else; even the end goal. You are focused and productive. Your energy levels are high and you are inspired. Creativity is sparked when working in the zone and it is the state of peak productivity for many artists and writers. Of course, it's useful for sport, education and in the workplace too. You can use it to increase your creativity and skill levels.

The benefits of using the flow state are:

Increased Productivity: If you've been a procrastinator or someone who finds task completion difficult then using the flow state can make a huge difference to your productivity. Within the flow you are working at your peak ability. Absorbed by the task at hand time will fly by without you having an awareness of it.

Time Management: working at peak achievement will help you complete tasks quicker and so save time. You work faster and without actual awareness of the passing of time due to the fact that you are totally immersed in the activity. You are not aware of yourself, doubts or fears. There is no room for procrastination or lack of focus. The flow state is one of positivity and energy.

Achievement: while in the zone you are able to tap into your inner resources such as problem solving and creativity. Resources that may have been previously blocked or hidden. Without your self-awareness there are no self-defeating or negative emotions or behaviors.

Lower Stress: this benefit can help change your life in a variety of ways. Reduced stress levels lead to improved health and better sleep among other things. While you are in the zone you feel energized and happier which releases tension.

Improved Health: it has been scientifically proven that while you are in the flow immune boosting neurochemicals are released.

Positive psychology is an area of study aimed at helping people change their lives for the better. The flow state is one aspect of this area that anyone can use. There are no negative aspects or side effects and getting into the flow, especially on a regular basis, can only have a positive effect on your life.

How does your life make you feel? Do you wake each morning looking forward to the day ahead or do you wish you could bury your head under the covers and stay there? Your outlook will depend on many things but one of the most important factors that can change your day-to-day life is passion.

Why You Should Find Your Passion and Follow It

How does your life make you feel? Do you wake each morning looking forward to the day ahead or do you wish you could bury your head under the covers and stay there? Your outlook will depend on many things but one of the most important factors that can change your day-to-day life is passion.

What is Passion?

Passion is an extreme and positive emotion. A strong and compelling desire for someone or something that inspires you and creates happiness. While it can be an emotion felt towards another person here we are looking at passion for life and work.

Why Do You Need Passion?

"Without passion you don't have energy, without energy you have nothing." Donald Trump

Without passion in your life you will probably find that your days often feel dull and tiresome. There may be a sense of something being missing or lacking. You might also feel tired and depressed. This can be the result of the negative energy surrounding you due to the lack of passion and the positive energy it brings.

Finding your passion for life can create enormous change. You will find that you look forward to the day ahead and want to get out of bed in the morning. You will have more energy and focus. Additionally, you'll feel more creative and inspired to follow your dreams and create goals.

Your passion for life will also help you create better relationships with others including family, friends and colleagues. They will respond to your positive energy and enthusiasm.

Of course your passion in life might also be a way for you to create passion in work. This can result in a huge shift in your life as you will not only be living the life you love but you will also be undertaking work that you love as well. Wouldn’t it feel amazing to earn an income from doing something that inspires you and brings you joy?

Finding passion for something can create an enormous shift in your life and emotions. It can help you to live a fulfilling life where every day is full of purpose, energy, commitment and achievement. If life feels dull, uninspiring and leaves you with little energy and focus then why not look for that something, a cause, hobby or career, that feels right and sparks joy within you? You’ll be amazed at the difference it makes to you, your relationships and possibly, your finances.

If your life seems dull and boring, then it is time to turn it around. You don't have to settle for dull and humdrum, instead you can choose to go after fun and fabulous So what is it that can completely transform your life for the better? Is it money? Perhaps a life partner? What about fame? While all of those will change your life, often for the better, there is an often over-looked something that will create an incredible and positive change in your life.

This One Thing Can Transform Your Life from Dull to Fabulous

If your life seems dull and boring, then it is time to turn it around. You don't have to settle for dull and humdrum, instead you can choose to go after fun and fabulous

So what is it that can completely transform your life for the better? Is it money? Perhaps a life partner? What about fame? While all of those will change your life, often for the better, there is an often over-looked something that will create an incredible and positive change in your life.

"There is no fulfilment in things whatsoever. And I think one of the reasons that depression reigns supreme amongst the rich and famous is some of them thought that maybe those things would bring them happiness. But what, in fact, does is having a cause, having a passion. And that's really what gives life's true meaning." Ben Carson

As you can see from the quote above a cause, a passion and therefore, purpose is what will give you a life transformed from dull to amazing. It won't require you to spend thousands of dollars or go to extreme lengths. Instead it will require some soul searching, thinking, goal setting, planning and action taking.

You can have all the latest gadgets, fast cars, new clothes, holidays and top job but unless you are passionate about what you do and why you do it, they will feel worthless and hold little meaning for you. They may make you feel excited and happy in the beginning but over time they lose significance and no longer have the power to engender positive emotions.

If you want to find fulfilment and happiness, then it's time to focus on what you can do to create it in your life. Instead of focusing on material things consider what you can do to create a difference in the world. It doesn't have to be massive and impact the entire population of the Earth. It may be something that you feel passionately about that is local to you.

By taking up a cause or a passion project that is bigger than you it allows you to start making an impact on the world around you. By giving yourself to this passion you will receive energy, positivity, excitement and happiness.

It may be that your passion is to write children's books. Your books would then inspire a new generation of children to read and learn. You would be creating a legacy with the power to affect future generations.

Don't let life pass you by. You don't have to accept a miserable or mundane existence. You have the power to create the life you want. Find your passion and purpose, follow it and create a life of joy, excitement, challenge and adventure that can inspire others and create a legacy you're proud to leave.

Are you living your best life? Do you think that you should be living the American Dream? It may be that you consider the best life as one with fame and fortune, perhaps with the addition of fast cars and globe-trotting. However, living your best life is not about the American Dream, fast cars, globe-trotting, fame or fortune.

Live Your Best Life

Are you living your best life? Do you think that you should be living the American Dream? It may be that you consider the best life as one with fame and fortune, perhaps with the addition of fast cars and globe-trotting. However, living your best life is not about the American Dream, fast cars, globe-trotting, fame or fortune.

Your best life is about you living a life of happiness and success. While the specific elements of your best life will be different to someone else's there will be common threads. What are those elements that will help you create and live your best life?

Work/Life Balance

While for most people work is essential to earn income to fund a roof over their head and food on the table, some people are lucky enough to have enough money that they don't actually need to work. Whether you do or don't need to work is not the problem. The problem occurs when work takes over your life and you find that everything you do revolves around it. If you find that you spend too many hours working and not enough resting or socializing then you will find it begins to negatively impact your life, health and relationships.

It's important that you make sure that you have a work/life balance that allows you to enjoy time with family and friends, as well as on outside interests.

Goals

You know that goals are important but do you set them? You need goals in your personal and business life. By having them you can create positive change. If you're drifting along and not feeling inspired, then now is the time to change that. What do you want from life? What makes you feel excited or inspired? When you look back on your life what do you want to feel proud of?

Think about what you want and then write down the steps you can take to achieve it.

What would your best life look and feel like?

Relationships

Everyone needs relationships. They provide connection and support. Look at the people in your life who don't serve any purpose apart from annoyance or toxicity. By this consider all those who take your time, energy and positivity but give nothing in return apart from stress and anxiety. If you can remove them from your social circle so that they don't have the time or space to affect you negatively any more. If removing them completely isn't possible then plan ways to make sure that you can interact with them without negativity or feeling used.

Nurture and develop those relationships that bring you happiness, love, friendship and support. Those relationships that involve give and take.

Consider hiring a life coach to help you create your best life. This could be one of the best investments and relationships you make.

Health

Your health is essential. While you may have serious health issues you can manage them in a way that will enable you to create and live your best life. Make sure that you eat healthily and drink plenty of fluids. Regular exercise will help you with fitness and also get the endorphins (feel good hormones) flowing.

Happiness

Be happy. There will be times when things happen that cause unhappiness but these periods need only be temporary. Plan for them and have strategies in place that can help you find the positive and regain a sense of control. You are the master of your destiny and happiness. You have the power to control your feelings. Don't give that power away to others.

Passion

Find your passion. What makes you feel alive and that life is worth living? What excites you and makes you want to leap out of bed in the morning to grasp the new day? Find that and you will be holding the key to living your best life every day.

Are you happy? While you may answer yes consider the question further. Are you really happy? Does your life fill you with joy? Do you feel well? Are you excited by the thought of what each day holds? When considering happiness there are a lot of questions that can be asked. Perhaps one of the first ones you will think of is, 'What is happiness?'

How to Achieve Real Happiness

Are you happy? While you may answer yes consider the question further. Are you really happy? Does your life fill you with joy? Do you feel well? Are you excited by the thought of what each day holds? When considering happiness there are a lot of questions that can be asked. Perhaps one of the first ones you will think of is, 'What is happiness?'

Happiness is a state of being. Positive psychologist Sonja Lyubomirsky describes happiness as a positive emotion that not only means you experience the emotions of well-being, joy and contentment but these emotions are also "combined with a sense that one's life is good, meaningful and worthwhile."

So for you to experience real happiness it appears that you need to create a life with meaning. So does your life have meaning? Do you feel that it is worthwhile?

These are important questions to ask yourself. If you feel happy but your life is lacking something, then it may be that you aren't experiencing a full state of real happiness. Creating change could take your life from mediocre to amazing and allow you to experience the full effects of real happiness.

So how can you create real happiness?

Discover your passion and purpose. Make these an intrinsic part of your everyday life. If you're wondering how to find them then take a piece of paper or notebook and answer the following questions.

What do want to do with your life?

How do you want to feel every day?

What do you enjoy doing? List those things that make you feel excited, creative, inspired and energized.

What are you good at? List those things that make you feel creative, energized, inspired and that you lose yourself in when you are doing them.

What do you want your legacy to be?

When you think back on your life, what do you want to be remembered for?

Who are your role models? Why?

What are your big dreams and goals?

How can you achieve your big dreams and goals?

Who or what can help you change your life for the better?

As you answer the questions you will begin to find a pattern in your answers and recurrent themes. These can help you identify what you need to do and change to create real happiness in your life.

If you consider that your life needs to be worthwhile and meaningful as Lyubomirsky says, then you need to consider what you can do to create those in your own life. You need to find your passion and purpose. When you have found those and embedded them into your life then you will find real happiness.

Do you find that some days you wish you lived a different life? Perhaps you find yourself wishing that you were Richard Branson, Donald Trump or Brad Pitt. It isn't unusual to wish you lived a different life or were someone else. If you find that you have days where you feel unsatisfied or discontented, then it may be time to think about what you can do turn your life around.

Can Everyone Find Their Passion and Purpose in Life?

Do you find that some days you wish you lived a different life? Perhaps you find yourself wishing that you were Richard Branson, Donald Trump or Brad Pitt. It isn't unusual to wish you lived a different life or were someone else. If you find that you have days where you feel unsatisfied or discontented, then it may be time to think about what you can do turn your life around.

What's different about your life and that of those you admire and who inspire you? At first glance it may be that you think it's money or fame. Often you will look at possessions. Instead look deeper and list those qualities that you admire. It may be that you are inspired by their skills, knowledge, generosity or temperament.

What do they have that you don't? They have passion and a purpose. They have something that they care about and are filled with a desire to make a difference; not just for themselves but for others.

Your life can be fulfilling. Living a life with passion and purpose is possible for everyone. You do not need to be rich, famous or highly educated.

To find your passion and purpose you need to discover what you really want. Don't just consider material objects, look deeper at lifestyle, relationships, your health and emotions.

For a positive difference to take place you don't need to give up your job and follow your calling 100% of the time. You can start small and paint your masterpiece or write your novel in your spare time. This will allow you to begin to feel the benefits of doing what you love and feeling the positive effects and changes while still working and earning an income.

Not everyone wants to change the world. It may be that you want to make a difference by volunteering at the local homeless shelter. Your desire to bring about positive change in the lives of others, less well off than yourself, will bring about an enormous change in your life. You will experience the joy of giving and in return feel a sense of satisfaction. In addition, you'll probably pick up new skills, make new friends and connections and discover other changes you want to make in your own life.

Everyone deserves to live their best life. All you need to do is find what you really want to do that can make you feel excited, joyful, engaged and fulfilled. That way you can begin to live your best life instead of settling for a humdrum existence.

"Follow your passion. The rest will attend to itself. If I can do it, anybody can do it. It's possible. And it's your turn. So go for it. It's never too late to become what you always wanted to be in the first place." J. Michael Straczynski

7 Ways to Discover Your Passion and Purpose

"Follow your passion. The rest will attend to itself. If I can do it, anybody can do it. It's possible. And it's your turn. So go for it. It's never too late to become what you always wanted to be in the first place." J. Michael Straczynski

Life without passion for something can be a struggle. Days will feel endless and tedious and life will seem a struggle. By finding your passion for something you will discover joy, creativity, inspiration and a greater sense of freedom and well-being. You'll also discover a sense of purpose.

Here are seven ways you can discover your passion and purpose in life

Create a Vision Board

Collect images and quotes that illustrate what you want for your life. Add your goals in written and visual form. Creating a physical vision board will allow you to place it somewhere prominent where you will be able to see it frequently and it will reinforce the vision you have for the future and the life you want to live.

Make a List of Things You Enjoy Doing

Write down everything, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant, that you enjoy doing. Think back to your childhood and add all of those hobbies and activities that you love and were good at. Which of these things sparks the greatest feeling of passion and joy in you?

List Your Dreams and Goals in Life

Think big. What do you really want from your life? How would you like to be remembered?

Write down all the things that you have ever dreamed of being or doing. Include those from your childhood. Which of these dreams and goals resonates with you the most? Which is the one that sings to your soul?

Think Big

Passion and purpose are meant to create a huge shift within you mentally and physically. So when trying to find your passion and purpose in life don't think small; think big. What would you like your legacy to be?

Be Inspired

Think about and list on a piece of paper, all of those people who inspire you. Then note down what it is about them and what they do that makes you feel inspired. What can you take from their examples to create passion and purpose in your life?

Get a Mentor

A mentor who is already living the passionate and purposeful life you desire can help you to model their success. Networking is a great way to find a suitable mentor so once you know what your goal is then find a way to connect with others with the same interests.

Find a Life Coach

Coaching is a really powerful tool that will help you discover yourself, your interests and create the life you really want. Investing in yourself by choosing a coach will help you discover your passion and purpose with support, guidance and encouragement.

If you want to live your best life, then you need to find your passion and follow it. Sounds easy doesn't it? It actually isn't that hard so it's surprising that so many people don't do it and seem happy to exist rather than living a life of happiness and success.

5 Steps to Find Your Passion

If you want to live your best life, then you need to find your passion and follow it. Sounds easy doesn't it? It actually isn't that hard so it's surprising that so many people don't do it and seem happy to exist rather than living a life of happiness and success.

To change your life for the better and create a future, you can look forward to then follow the five steps below.

Step 1: Dream Big

Everyone has big dreams. What have you done with yours? Do you think about them, act on them or hide them away?

If you want to find your passion and purpose, then it's time to dream big. List all of those big dreams you've had from childhood to today. No matter how wild or funny, write them all down.

Which of those dreams resonates most with you? Which makes your heart sing and inspires you the most? Is it realistic and achievable? If you've set your sights on being the first full-time resident of Mars, then you'll probably need to take another look at your list and find something that is more realistic and achievable but almost as exciting to you!

Your big dream doesn't have to be outrageous or huge. It just needs to be big enough to push you out of your comfort zone and willing to commit to making changes in your life so that you can achieve it. You need to want it. It needs to spark desire and passion in you.

Step 2: Set Goals

Once you've decided what your ideal or dream is then you need to set goals. Your end goal is what you want to achieve; your dream. There will be other, smaller goals, that you will need to achieve along the way. You need to note these down as well.

Step 3: Plan Your Way

Now that you know what you want and need to achieve, it's time to plan what you need to do to get there. Think about what action you need to take, resources you will need and anything or anyone that can provide help and support.

Step 4: Take Action

You know what you want, how you can achieve it and the steps to take. It's time to take action. Remember you are looking for a passionate life. One that fills you with excitement, joy and success.

Step 5: Live Your Best Life

Once you’ve started taking action on your goals and plans you will find that your life starts to improve. Instead of dreading each day you’ll look forward to it with excitement and anticipation. Your best life is the one that gives you happiness, success and achievement through living your passion and purpose.

If you want to find and live your passion, then you can follow the five steps above. You can do it on your own or you can give yourself a helpful boost by using a coach or mentor.

10 ways to empower your communication

"A Piece of Blarney Stone"  - 10 ways to empower your communication

The Blarney Stone is a historical stone, or actually part of the Blarney Castle in Ireland where it was believed that kissing the stone can grant you the gift of gab. Yeah, it seems strange in this day and age, but who are we to question tradition? It's not like I'm saying that Santa Claus doesn't exist (OOPS!).

There is so much to know about conversation that anyone, even I, could ever realize. You can go though watching talk shows; radio programs; clubs dedicated to public speaking; ordinary conversations; certain rules still apply when it comes to interaction through words. It may sound tedious, I know, but even though it's your mouth that's doing the work, your brain works twice as hard to churn out a lot of things you know. So what better way to start learning to be an effective communication is to know the very person closest to you: yourself.

1. What you know.
Education is all about learning the basics, but to be an effective speaker is to practice what you've learned. My stint as guest at every Toastmasters' meeting I go to taught me that we all have our limitations, but that doesn't mean we can't learn to keep up and share what we know.

2. Listening.
It's just as important as asking questions. Sometimes listening to the sound of our own voice can teach us to be a little bit confident with ourselves and to say the things we believe in with conviction.

3. Humility
We all make mistakes, and sometimes we tend to slur our words, stutter, and probably mispronounce certain words even though we know what it means, but rarely use it only to impress listeners. So in a group, don't be afraid to ask if you're saying the right word properly and if they're unsure about it then make a joke out of it. I promise you it'll make everyone laugh and you can get away with it as well.

4. Eye Contact
There's a lot to say when it comes to directing your attention to your audience with an eye-catching gaze. It's important that you keep your focus when talking to a large group in a meeting or a gathering, even though he or she may be gorgeous.

5. Kidding around
A little bit of humor can do wonders to lift the tension, or worse boredom when making your speech. That way, you'll get the attention of the majority of the crowd and they'll feel that you're just as approachable, and as human to those who listen.

6. Be like the rest of them
Interaction is all about mingling with other people. You'll get a lot of ideas, as well as knowing what people make them as they are.

7. Me, Myself, and I
Admit it, there are times you sing to yourself in the shower. I know I do! Listening to the sound of your own voice while you practice your speech in front of a mirror can help correct the stress areas of your pitch. And while you're at it you can spruce up as well.

8. With a smile
A smile says it all much like eye contact. There's no point on grimacing or frowning in a meeting or a gathering, unless it's a wake. You can better express what you're saying when you smile.

9. A Role Model
There must be at least one or two people in your life you have listened to when they're at a public gathering or maybe at church. Sure they read their lines, but taking a mental note of how they emphasize what they say can help you once you take center stage.

10. Preparation
Make the best out of preparation rather than just scribbling notes and often in a hurried panic. Some people like to write things down on index cards, while other resort to being a little more silly as they look at their notes written on the palm of their hand (not for clammy hands, please). Just be comfortable with what you know since you enjoy your work.

And that about wraps it up. These suggestions are rather amateurish in edgewise, but I've learned to empower myself when it comes to public or private speaking and it never hurts to be with people to listen how they make conversations and meetings far more enjoyable as well as educational.

Everyone, at some point of his or her life, has dreamed of being somebody special, somebody big. Who hasn't fantasized about being the one who hits the game-winning homer? Who hasn't dreamed of being the homecoming queen? And how many times have we dreamed of being rich, or successful, or happy with our relationships?

Impossible is Just a Word

Everyone, at some point of his or her life, has dreamed of being somebody special, somebody big. Who hasn't fantasized about being the one who hits the game-winning homer? Who hasn't dreamed of being the homecoming queen? And how many times have we dreamed of being rich, or successful, or happy with our relationships?

Often, we dream big dreams and have great aspirations. Unfortunately, our dreams remain just that – dreams. And our aspirations easily collect dust in our attic.

This is a sad turn of events in our life. Instead of experiencing exciting adventures in self actualization, we get caught up in the humdrum of living from day-to-day just barely existing.

But you know what? Life could be so much better, if only we learned to aim higher.

The most common problem to setting goals is the word impossible. Most people get hung up thinking I can't do this. It's too hard. It's too impossible. No one can do this.

However, if everyone thought that, there would be no inventions, no innovations, and no breakthroughs in human accomplishment.

Remember that scientists were baffled when they took a look at the humble bumblebee. Theoretically, they said, it was impossible for the bumblebee to fly. Unfortunately for the bumble, bee no one has told it so. So fly it does.

On the other hand, some people suffer from dreaming totally outrageous dreams and not acting on them. The result? Broken dreams, and tattered aspirations.

If you limit yourself with self-doubt, and self-limiting assumptions, you will never be able to break past what you deem impossible. If you reach too far out into the sky without working towards your goal, you will find yourself clinging on to the impossible dream.

Try this exercise. Take a piece of paper and write down some goals in your life. Under one header, list down things ‘you know you can do’. Under another header, write the things ‘you might be able to do.’ And under one more, list the things that that are ‘impossible for you to do.’

Now look at all the headers strive every day to accomplish the goals that are under things ‘you know you can do’. Check them when you are able to accomplish them. As you slowly are able to check all of your goals under that heading, try accomplishing the goals under the other header-the one that reads ‘you might be able to do.’

As of the items you wrote under things I could do are accomplished, you can move the goals that are under things that are ‘impossible for you to do’ to the list of things ‘you might be able to do.’

As you iterate through this process, you will find out that the goals you thought were impossible become easier to accomplish. And the impossible begin to seem possible after all.

You see, the technique here is not to limit your imagination. It is to aim high, and start working towards that goal little by little. However, it also is unwise to set a goal that is truly unrealistic.

Those who just dream towards a goal without working hard end up disappointed and disillusioned.

On the other hand, if you told someone a hundred years ago that it was possible for man to be on the moon, they would laugh at you. If you had told them that you could send mail from here to the other side of the world in a few seconds, they would say you were out of your mind. But, through sheer desire and perseverance, these impossible dreams are now realities.

Thomas Edison once said that genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. Nothing could be truer. For one to accomplish his or her dreams, there has to be had work and discipline. But take note that that 1% has to be a think-big dream, and not some easily accomplished one.

Ask any gym rat and he or she will tell you that there can be no gains unless you are put out of your comfort zone. Remember the saying, “No pain, no gain”? That is as true as it can be.

So dream on, friend! Don’t get caught up with your perceived limitations. Think big and work hard to attain those dreams. As you step up the ladder of progress, you will just about find out that the impossible has just become a little bit more possible.
